3. How & Why We Use Your Data (UK GDPR Lawful Bases)
We process your personal data strictly on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:
- Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): To provide tailored quotations, confirm bookings, allocate your chauffeur and vehicle, coordinate airport/FBO arrivals, and deliver your chauffeur service.

- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To track live flight delays/early arrivals, optimise traffic routing, manage corporate accounts, maintain service quality, and prevent fraud.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): To accommodate optional special instructions (such as child seats or accessibility support) or where you explicitly opt in to receive updates.
4. Transport for London (TfL) Statutory Record-Keeping
As a licensed London Private Hire operator, we are legally required by Transport for London (TfL) to record and keep accurate logs of every booking, including the date/time of booking, passenger/booker name and contact details, pickup and drop-off locations, and the assigned PCO-licensed chauffeur and vehicle registration. These statutory records are retained for a minimum of 12 months (and up to 6 years for insurance/legal compliance) and may be inspected by TfL or law enforcement where required by law.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing. We share only the minimum necessary details with:
- Your Assigned Chauffeur: Receives your name, mobile number, pickup/drop-off addresses, flight number, and special instructions to complete your journey.
- Private Jet FBOs, Venues & Security Teams: Where you instruct us to coordinate airside FBO ramp access (e.g., Farnborough, Biggin Hill, RAF Northolt, Luton Signature) or diplomatic/event security clearance.
- Vetted Affiliate & Specialist Partners: Where a booking involves a specialist vehicle (such as a 54-seater coach or vintage wedding car) or travel outside London/worldwide.
- Regulatory Authorities: TfL, HMRC, or police authorities strictly when required by UK law.
6. Worldwide Chauffeur Bookings & International Transfers
When you book chauffeur services outside the UK (across Europe, the USA, the Middle East, or Asia), we transfer only the necessary journey details (passenger name, contact number, flight details, and pickup/destination) to our vetted local chauffeur partner in that destination country. This transfer is carried out under UK GDPR Article 49(1)(b) (necessary for the performance of your booking contract) and appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
7. VIP Discretion, NDAs & Data Security
We regularly serve corporate executives, diplomats, royal delegations, celebrities, and private families. All chauffeurs and dispatch staff are bound by strict confidentiality undertakings and a zero-social-media disclosure policy. We also execute formal Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for corporate accounts and VIP clients upon request. Our website and booking channels use SSL/TLS encryption and restricted access controls.
8. WhatsApp, Telephone & Email Communications
You may request quotes or contact our 24/7 dispatch team via WhatsApp (+44 2038076557), telephone, or email (bookings@hirechauffeur.world). WhatsApp messages are protected by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption and are subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy. For highly sensitive diplomatic or corporate itineraries, clients may prefer to correspond directly via email.
9. In-Vehicle GPS Tracking & Road Safety Cameras
Our fleet uses GPS telematics for live dispatch coordination, passenger safety, and accurate ETA updates. Some vehicles also use outward-facing road dashcams for insurance and road-safety purposes. We do not record private passenger conversations inside the cabin.
10. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies to ensure fast loading, security, and mobile responsiveness, along with basic anonymised traffic analytics. You can manage or disable cookies at any time in your browser settings.
